Annemarie Catania has a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from the University of Marburg (Philipps-Universität Marburg) and an M.A. in Classics from Johns Hopkins University. She is a published scholar and has extensive experience as a copyeditor, translator, and indexer. She has also taught academic writing skills to students, most recently in the Social Sciences Writing Program of the University of Chicago.

Annemarie works with Miller Prosser, Director of Online Publications in the Forum for Digital Culture, to produce peer-reviewed publications of digital materials authored by scholars at the University of Chicago and elsewhere. She guides authors through the editorial process and ensures that their online publications are durable, citable, and of high quality.
